Report on Electrical Safety Hazard Mitigation at Bus Depots for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE)
ISGF conducted a detailed study of Electrical Safety Hazard Mitigation at Bus Depots for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) at bus depots in Pune and Kolkata where we installed high-end power quality meters (PQM) and monitored the data from one year from August 2021 to August 2022. ISGF also modelled the electrical network in these two depots and conducted simulation studies for different scenarios of bus charging loads in 2022, 2024 and 2027. The findings and recommendations are given in the report.

The Uttar Pradesh electricity regulator’s new regulations for Rooftop Solar (RTS) integration with the grid mark an opportunity for Peer-to-Peer (P2P) energy trading, not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in other Indian states and international markets. A white paper by the Consortium of India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF), Indian Energy Exchange (IEX), and Powerledger (PL) emphasizes the importance of P2P energy trading in securing India’s energy future. The consortium aims to promote P2P trading as a cost-effective means to achieve Rooftop Solar Targets in India. The report invites cooperation from regulators in other Indian states to establish a regulatory framework, allowing DISCOMs to validate and realize the benefits of blockchain-based dynamically priced P2P energy trading for all stakeholders.
